the walrus & the carpenter
The Walrus & the Carpenter is a fun, lively oyster bar in Seattle, Washington. The goal of the logo redesign was to capture the soft, whimsical spirit of the brand and distinguish itself among its local seafood competitors. The logo combines a walrus with two hammers to communicate a sense of cuteness appropriate to the brand. The stationery package furthers the brand identity through its soft color and rounded type. The pattern on the back of the letterhead and inside the envelope explores the connection between water and wood.
